We put the Human in "Be Human"

For those of you who are quite familiar with the world of SIX Marketing, or if this is your first time visiting -- "Be Human" is one of our core values here at SIX. And in an effort to display this, we are pulling back the curtain to introduce you to the humans behind SIX.

Today, we'd like to introduce you to another member of Team SIX -- Mikayla Lansing!

Who are you? And what is your job at SIX?

Mikayla Lansing - Marketing & Sales Strategist

When did you start here and how did you get here?

May 2020 - "Jac" as you all know her, is a family friend and introduced me to SIX.

What is a day in your life at SIX like? Does it vary? If yes, how so?

Every day at SIX is exciting! What makes it so exciting is how it varies from day-to-day. There are always new projects. You may have an idea of what you are going to work on for the day, but that can quickly shift.

What are your hobbies?

Taking polaroid pictures, reading, spending time with friends and family, and being outdoors in the sun (preferably by a body of water).

What is something when you tell someone they are shocked to know about you?

I LOVE sharks and I swam with them in Mexico (best day of my life), along with dolphins, seals, sea turtles, stingrays, and manatees... I think you can tell I enjoy the ocean. I am never more relaxed than when I am swimming in the open water surrounded by fish.

What is your favorite part about your job?

How much I get to learn every day.

What is your greatest challenge at your job?

How much things can change every day.

Why is this a challenge and what do you do to overcome it?

Things can change very quickly in this field and you have to be able to adapt to the changes. It is a good thing my favorite thing about the job is how much I get to learn every day which makes it easier to overcome the challenges.

If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Anything by Saint Jhn

What is the last show you binge-watched?

I don't binge many shows however, give me a romance novel or a book on social justice (or injustice) and I can read all day and night.
