Written by Keith H. | Jan 30, 2019

"Be Human" is one of our core values here at SIX.

In an effort to display this, we are pulling back the curtain to show you the humans behind SIX... because they're kind of our favorite people!

The first member of Team SIX we’d like to introduce you to is Alexandra Besso--

Who are you? And what is your job at SIX?

"Alex Besso and I'm SIX's, corporate counsel."

When did you start here and how did you get here?

"I started with SIX at the end of 2018. SIX had been on my radar for a while and when an opportunity to work here became available I jumped on it! "

What is a day in your life at SIX like? Does it vary? If yes, how so?

"My days at SIX are always different. Some days I'm drafting legal documents, others I'm designing internal business processes and most fun, of course, is meeting with clients and consulting on certain projects that are centered around economic development and the non-profit sector."

 What are your hobbies?

"I love to cook (aka eat), read, and play competitive sports."

What is something when you tell someone they are shocked to know about you?

"I'm training for the 2019 Ironman Lake Placid in July."

What is your favorite part about your job?

"My coworkers! They truly are really great people to work with. Everyone has a different skill set and together we are a powerhouse team!"

What is your greatest challenge at your job?

"I have a legal education, and I don't come from a marketing background, so learning the marketing vernacular takes time!"

Why is this a challenge and what do you do to overcome it?

"SIX provides services to clients across a wide range of industries. It's challenging to keep up with the marketing nuances that vary between each industry that affect the way I support each client....but that's also what makes this job fun and interesting!"

If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be?

"Giant Steps by John Coltrane"

What is the last show you binge-watched?

"The Haunting of Hill House - I love all things scary and suspenseful!"
