Our Favorite 2017 Holiday Commercials

Written by Jaclyn Shyptycki | Dec 06, 2017

It's that time of year - time for holiday commercials where you're not sure whether they are about to make you laugh or cry. Here are "SIX" of our favorites!

You might remember the past ones like the crazy-eyed Target lady who scoured the store for deals in her high heels or the Maxwell House commercials that wouldn't leave a dry eye in front of the television. Really, if coffee can bring a family together, what can't it do? It also left you scolding whoever you're with for crying even though you're trying to hide choking up yourself (I'm not crying, you're crying!).

This year, there are a couple of real tear-jerkers, one that will make you say "seriously, someone gets paid for this?" and everything in between.

As part of this holiday edition of #SIXOnThe6th. We are sharing with you "SIX" of our favorite holiday commercials.

1) Audi - "Parking Lot"

Unless you've jumped on the Amazon bandwagon and order all of your presents online, going to the mall, department or grocery store is unavoidable. This commercial represents a piece of all of us at one point or another during the holiday season (driving by that handicapped spot - don't lie, you know you've thought about it).

2) BBC One - "The Supporting Act"

SHE THOUGHT HE WASN'T PAYING ATTENTION. That is all.

3) Toyota - "R+S"

The music makes this one hundred times sadder but also heart-warming *Sobs uncontrollably*.

4) Samsung - "Giving Is a Gift to Be Shared"

When people love their job enough to go above and beyond is one thing but to be recognized by the people who you are working for - might hit close to home for a lot of you with awesome clients or customers.

5) Old Spice - "Ye Olde Exploding Yule Log"

Someone was paid to edit almost an hour of Terry Crews' head on an exploding log.

6) Macy's - "The Wrong Size"

This is nice for a couple of reasons. 1) His mom didn't blow up the spot in the store - yay for no humiliation and 2) He still got the clothes he wanted AND the girl.

Well, that wraps up our #SIXOnThe6th for December. Check out what we have in store next month by liking us on Facebook!
