SIX Spotlight: Lauren Venditti

Written by Keith H. | Jul 12, 2019

"Be Human" is one of our core values here at SIX.

In an effort to display this, we are pulling back the curtain to show you the humans behind SIX.

The next member of Team SIX we’d like to introduce you to is Lauren Venditti--

Who are you? And what is your job at SIX?
Lauren Venditti - Intern

When did you start here and how did you get here?
May 2018 - I found SIX in my search for a summer internship.

What is a day in your life at SIX like? Does it vary? If yes, how so?
Besides a few routine items that we focus on each day, most days differ from one another! As an intern, I get the chance to observe and work hands-on in a range of activities like planning social media strategies, working with analytics, and trying to come up with witty retorts to short jokes from my wonderful coworkers (I'm talking to you, Todd).

What are your hobbies?
I really enjoy reading, so on my days off you can find me at the nearest library with a book in one hand and a coffee in the other. I also love going to classical ballet and orchestra performances (yes, I am 21 going on 80).

What is something when you tell someone they are shocked to know about you?
People are always surprised when I tell them that I'm a triplet, especially when they see my sisters and I together. No one would ever guess that we're related based on appearance, so sometimes people think I'm making it up! But yes, there are three of us and no, we cannot communicate telepathically.

What is your favorite part about your job?
Working with the SIX team really makes work more enjoyable and creative. We are all constantly learning from one another.

What is your greatest challenge at your job?
Working with platforms that are constantly changing.

Why is this a challenge and what do you do to overcome it?
This industry changes all of the time, so I think you genuinely have to love learning in order to continue being successful in marketing. While this can add an extra level of research to a task, I think it just makes the work that much more effective and current.

If you could only listen to one album for the rest of your life, what would it be?
How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful- Florence and the Machine

What is the last show you binge watched?
The Great British Baking Show
